This custom outdoor living project was designed to transform the backyard into a fully functional extension of the home, supporting both everyday living and elevated entertaining.
The Flaker Residence features a multi level louvered pergola system that defines distinct zones while maintaining visual continuity across the space. One area serves as a covered outdoor kitchen and cooking zone, while a separate covered entertaining area provides comfortable seating and gathering space for family and guests.
Integrated lighting and heaters allow the homeowners to enjoy the space well beyond daylight hours and across multiple seasons. The adjustable louvers offer precise control over sun and shade, creating comfort throughout the day while preserving open sightlines to the surrounding landscape.
Every element of this project was thoughtfully planned to balance structure, warmth, and usability, resulting in an outdoor environment that feels intentional, refined, and effortless to use.
